AquaSol advised on the commercial development of its high protein fish meal replacement feed ingredient for aquaculture diets. AquaSol led preliminary coordination of several feed trials utilizing the fishmeal replacement SCP diets. In a trial for shrimp, it was concluded that the Client’s proprietary ingredient could replace at least 80% of fishmeal in shrimp feed formulations. Results of these feed trials are currently being utilized in targeted marketing efforts to introduce the Client’s fish meal replacement feed ingredient to the aquafeed industry.
